Western Blotting Enhanced Validation-Recombinant Antibody Technology Lysates from Lymphocytes (Lane 1), Raji cells (Lane 2), Jurkat cells(Lane 3), and Daudi cells (Lane 4) were probed with Cat. No. ZRB1564, Anti-CD24, clone 3N22 ZooMAb® Rabbit Monoclonal (1:1,000 dilution). Proteins were visualized using a Donkey Anti-Rabbit IgG secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Arrow indicates CD24 (~38 kDa).
Affinity Binding Assay Enhanced Validation-Recombinant Antibody Technology 100 μg/mL of CD24 peptide (Run 1) or non-specific control peptide (Run 2) were analyzed by affinity binding assay using Cat. No. ZRB1564, Anti-CD24, clone 3N22 ZooMAb® Rabbit Monoclonal. The binding of this antibody to CD24 peptide displayed a KD value of 3.4 x 10-7 whereas its binding to non-specific control peptide displayed a KD of 1.1 x 10-3.
Flow Cytometry Enhanced Validation-Recombinant Antibody Technology Staining of one million Raji was performed using 1 μg of Cat. No. ZRB1564, Anti-CD24, clone 3N22 ZooMAb® Rabbit Monoclonal (Yellow histogram) or the equivalent amount of a Rabbit IgG isotype control (Grey histogram), followed by a PE-conjugated Donkey Anti-Rabbit IgG secondary antibody.

| Target description: | Signal transducer CD24 (UniProt: P25063; also known as Small cell lung carcinoma cluster 4 antigen, CD24) is encoded by the CD24 (also known as CD24A) gene (Gene ID: 100133941) in human. CD24 is a GPI-anchor membrane glycoprotein protein that is expressed on hematopoietic cells including B cells, T cells, neutrophils, macrophages and in neuronal and ganglion cells. Its expression is also observed in many types of cancer cells. Its expression is reported to be higher levels in progenitor cells and metabolically active cells compared to terminally differentiated cells. In B cells its expression is lost when primary B-cells are induced to differentiate in antibody-forming cells.
