Western Blotting Enhanced Validation - Recombinant Antibody Technology Lysates from Jurkat cells (Lane 1), RAW264.7 cells (Lane 2), and NIH3T3 cells (Lane 3) were probed with Cat. No. ZRB1340, Anti-TAF6L, clone 1M8 ZooMAb® Rabbit Monoclonal (1:10,000 dilution). Proteins were visualized using a Donkey Anti-Rabbit IgG secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system. Arrow indicates TAF6L (~65 kDa).
Affinity Binding Assay Enhanced Validation - Recombinant Antibody Technology 100 mg/mL of non-specific control peptide (Run 1) or TAF6L peptide (Run 2) were analyzed by affinity binding assay using Cat. No. ZRB1340, Anti-TAF6L, clone 1M8 ZooMAb® Rabbit Monoclonal. The binding of this antibody to TAF6L peptide displayed a KD of 4.4 x 10-8, whereas binding to non-specific control peptide displayed a KD of 1.5 x 10-4.

Physical form: Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS, 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 μL.

Storage and Stability: Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
Target description: TAF6-like RNA polymerase II p300/CBP-associated factor-associated factor 65 kDa subunit 6L (UniProt: Q9Y6J9; also known as TATA-box binding protein associated factor 6 like, PCAF-associated factor 65-alpha, PAF65-alpha, TAF6L) is encoded by the TAF6L (also known as PAF65A) gene (Gene ID: 10629) in human. TAF6L functions as a component of the PCAF complex that is composed of a number of TBP-associated factors, such as TAF5, TAF5L, TAF6, TAF6L, TAF9, TAF10 and TAF12. This complex is capable of efficiently acetylating histones in a nucleosomal context. TAF6L along with TAF5L, acts as an epigenetic regulator essential for somatic cell reprogramming. It regulates target genes through H3K9ac deposition and Myc recruitment which trigger Myc regulatory network to orchestrate gene expression programs to control embryonic stem cell state. It functions with Myc to activate target gene expression through RNA polymerase II pause release. This ZooMAb recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals.
