Application:	Sodium tauroursodeoxycholate has been used in a study to assess short-term feedback regulation of bile salt uptake in rodent liver. It has also been used in a study to investigate its potential to resolve endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress in intestinal epithelial cells. It is also used for isolation of membrane proteins including inner mitochondrial membrane proteins.
