Biochem/physiol Actions: Zinc finger protein 207 (ZNF207) maintains BUB3 (budding uninhibited by benzimidazoles 3) protein stability and chromosome congression. This protein interacts with microtubules and maintains chromosome alignment. It also helps in the loading of Bub3 protein to the kinetochores. ZNF207 is essential for maintaining the viability of glioblastoma stem cells.

General description: Zinc finger protein 207 (ZNF207) consists of a N-terminal zinc finger domain and a conserved GLE-2-binding sequence (GLEBS) motif, which helps BUB3 (budding uninhibited by benzimidazoles 3) binding. The gene is located on human chromosome 17q11.2.
Immunogen: ZNF207 (NP_003448, 1 a.a. ~ 110 a.a) partial recombinant protein with GST tag. MW of the GST tag alone is 26 KDa.
