Application:	SB 202190 was used to inhibit p38 activation in MCF7 cells⁵, mouse macrophages⁶ and HepG2 cells.⁷
Biochem/physiol Actions:	SB 202190 is a highly selective, potent and cell permeable inhibitor of p38 MAP kinase. SB 202190 binds within the ATP pocket of the active kinase (K_d = 38 nM, as measured in recombinant human p38), and selectively inhibits the p38α and β isoforms.
