Immunofluorescence MDCK cells were fixed and permeabilized with 4% paraformaldehyde followed by 0.5% Triton™ X-100. Fixed cells were stained with 1:500 Monoclonal Anti-Plakoglobin (catenin γ) Clone: 15F11 (Cat. No. P8087).The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG, Atto-488 conjugate (Cat. No. 62197). Cells were counterstained with DAPI (blue) to stain nuclei.
Immunoblotting Cell line lysates were separated on SDS-PAGE and probed with 1:500 Monoclonal Anti-Plakoglobin (catenin γ) Clone: 15F11 (Cat. No. P8087). | Biochem/physiol Actions: | The antibody recognizes the plakoglobin (catenin-γ) molecule (85 kDa and possibly a slightly lower band) by immunoblotting. It does not cross-react with β-catenin. The antibody reacts with plakoglobin in bovines, humans and dogs, but does not react with β catenin. |
