| Biochem/physiol Actions: | Oligomycin belongs to the macrolide group of antibiotics. It inhibits mitochondrial ATP-synthase enzyme and phosphoryl group transfer. Oligomycin interacts with ATP synthase subunit-c in the Fo portion and impairs proton transport. |
