| Application: | dNTP Mix has been used: • in the PCR amplification of genomic DNA isolated from insect, fungi, virus, human, • in reverse transcription of total RNA to cDNA. • as a component of the DNA amplification mixture for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) • routine and long PCR • manual and automated DNA sequencing • cDNA synthesis and labeling reactions |
| Features and Benefits: | • Purity of each dNTP: Minimum 99% • Conveniently formulated; 1 μL is used per 50 μL PCR • Equimolar amounts of each dNTP means less pipetting • Minimize risk of contamination in PCR • UltraPure dNTPs can help maximize consistency and yields in critical PCR reactions |
| General description: | Nucleotides are organic molecules that serve as the monomers, or subunits, of nucleic acids (like DNA and RNA). The building blocks of nucleic acids, nucleotides consist of a nitrogenous base (purine or pyrimidine), a five-carbon sugar (ribose or deoxyribose), and at least one phosphate group. A nucleoside along with a phosphate group yields a nucleotide. The Deoxynucleotide mix is a convenient premixed dNTP solution containing 10 mM each of UltraPure dATP, dCTP, dGTP, and TTP sodium salts in high-quality molecular biology grade water. One µL is sufficient for a standard 50 µL PCR reaction. |
