| Application: | Complement factor H (CFH) is a plasma regulator of the complement protein C3b in the alternative pathway of the complement system. Research has shown that binding of CFH is important for pathogenesis of group A streptococcus (GAS), and inhibition of this binding may be an effective management of GAS infections. |
