| Application: | Animal component-free medium formulated to optimize cell growth and protein expression in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. |
| Features and Benefits: | Developed to meet the needs of biotechnology and vaccine manufacturing, this medium supports rapid initial cell growth and high levels of protein expression in suspension cultures. It also supports high cell densities and maintenance of these densities of viable cells for extended periods resulting in increased productivity. Cell densities in excess of 8 × 106 cells/ml have been achieved in batch culture systems. Increases in protein productivity up to 500% per cell have been observed. |
