General description: Cilostazol prevents platelet aggregation and has vasodilatory properties. It is used to treat chronic arterial disease and intermittent claudication. Cilostazol has antiproliferative effects and improves the properties of prostacyclin. It regulates cell proliferation, stimulates cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) level and induces cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinase.
