Immunoprecipitation Monoclonal Anti-Bovine Serum Albumin, Clone: BSA-33 (Cat. No. B2901) was used to immunoprecipitate BSA from Fetal bovine serum (Cat. No. F7524). Detection antibody: Rabbit Anti-Bovine Albumin (Cat. No. B1520), followed by Anti-Rabbit IgG-peroxidase (Cat. No. A0545) and a chemiluminescent substrate. Lanes 1. Positive control: total 5 μg BSA without IP 2. Negative control: 10 μL non-relevant antibody 3. 2.5 μL antibody 4. 1 μL antibody
ELISA Monoclonal Anti-Bovine Serum Albumin, Clone: BSA-33 (Cat. No. B2901) was serially diluted for indirect ELISA using 5 μg/mL BSA for coating. The antibody was developed using Goat Anti-Mouse IgG (Fab specific)-Peroxidase (Cat. No. A9917) and a chromogenic substrate.

• competitive ELISA
• immunodot blot
• western blotting
• immunoaffinity purification or adsorption of BSA from biological fluids.
Biochem/physiol Actions: Bovine serum albumin (BSA) is often used as a protein standard and can also be used in cell culture media, forensics, and foodstuffs preparation. It also acts as a transporter for drugs, hormones and fatty acids.
Biochem/physiol Actions: Bovine serum albumin (BSA) is the main protein synthesized in the liver that constitutes over 50% of total serum proteins.
Monoclonal Anti-Bovine Serum Albumin antibody is specific for SDS-denatured and reduced BSA. While the product is highly cross reactive with goat and sheep serum; it has a lower affinity for dog, turkey and horse serum albumins.
