Application: The Standard Reference Material (SRM) is primarily intended to calibrate or evaluate methods used for analyzing cements and materials with similar matrix.
Features and Benefits: • NIST certified mass fraction values for the elements in Portland cement are metrologically traceable to the SI derived unit of mass fraction and expressed as a percentage.
• Reference mass fraction values and information mass fraction values for various constituents present in cement are provided.
• Maintenance and expiration of SRM certification, instructions for handling, storage, and use are provided on NIST certificate.
General description: A unit of SRM 1880b contains five sealed vials, each containing ~ 5 grams of Portland cement finely ground to pass through a 75 µm (No. 200) sieve. For more information, pleases refer to the COA and SDS.
