Application: | PCR DIG Labeling MixPLUS is used for direct labeling of amplification products with digoxigenin (DIG)-deoxyuridine triphosphate (dUTP) in polymerase chain reactions (PCR) and for carryover prevention. The PCR DIG Labeling Mixplus is 10x concentrated. For each reaction, add 10% of the final volume to the reaction mix. |
General description: | The PCR DIG Labeling MixPLUS is a mixture of lithium salts of deoxyadenosine triphosphate (dATP), deoxycytosine triphosphate (dCTP), deoxyguanosine triphosphate (dGTP), deoxyuridine triphosphate (dUTP) and digoxigenin (DIG)-11-dUTP. This nucleotide mixture can be added directly to polymerase chain reactions (PCR) and the DIG-labeled nucleotide will be incorporated into the PCR product. The incorporation of dUTP instead of deoxythymidine triphosphate (dTTP) allows the degradation of contaminating PCR products from previous amplification reactions with uracil-DNA glycosylase (UNG), preventing carryover contamination. The incorporated DIG label renders the sensitive detection of the PCR product with anti-DIG-conjugates, for example in the PCR ELISA, DIG-labling, and PCR ELISA, DIG-Detection. The PCR DIG Labeling MixPLUS gives comparable signal intensities to the PCR DIG Labeling Mix. |
General description: | We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product is designed as a safer chemical. The DIG System was established as a sensitive and cost-effective alternative to radioactivity for the labeling and detection of nucleic acids. There are many available publications that prove the versatility of the DIG System, so use of radio-labeling is no longer the only option for labeling of DNA for hybridization. |
