| Application: | Polycondensation of PTCDA with polypropylene glycol (PPG) based diamine can be utilized for the development of perlyene diimides which have a potential use as n-type semiconductors in organic photovoltaics. PTCDA can be used as a light absorbing monomer for the fabrication of bichromophobic light harvesting antenna systems. It can also be used to prepare 3, 4, 9, 10-perylene tetracarboxylic acid-aromatic fluorophores dye for a highly reversible fluorescence switching on different substrates. |
