Application: DTSACl functionalized silica nanoparticles incorporated in thermochromic dyes can be used in textile industries. They are also used as quaternary ammonium groups for the modification of nanocelluose/graphene oxide based membranes to be used as stable solid state electrolytes for zinc air batteries.
Application: DTSACl may be used for modification of silica.{61} It was used to functionalize Fe3O4/silica core-shell nanoparticles. {62} DTSACl may be used as a precursor to form silica, 3 and MeMFI zeolite.{63} It acts as a mesopore-generating agent. {64}
