| Application: | Vinyl neodecanoate, mixture of isomers can be used:• As a monomer to synthesize self-healing, super stretchable , self-adhesive homopolymers. This can be used as a matrix to fabricate semiconductive adhesives in electronic circuits and semiconducting tapes. • As a precursor to prepare poly (vinyl acetate-co-butyl acrylate-co-neodecanoate) terpolymer matrix which acts as reaction medium and as stabilizing agent for silver nanoparticles. This can be used as antifouling coating for operation theater surfaces, medical devices. • As a monomer to synthesize plasticizer free wood adhesive by copolymerization. It helps to enhance the water resistance of the adhesive. |
| General description: | Vinyl neodecanoate, mixture of isomers is a vinyl monomer with reactive vinyl group which imparts thermal stability. Its mixture of isomers gives it a range of properties, making it flexible and stable under heat. The compound dissolves well in organic solvents, which makes it useful for coatings and drug delivery systems. |
