Socorex® Calibra® digital Single-Channel Pipettes

The combination of mechanical precision, comfort and ease of use in the same instrument makes the Socorex® Calibra® digital models the most advanced micro- and macropipettes available in the market. With unsurpassed performance and calibration stability, they are ideal for gel sequencing and biotechnology applications. Pipettes feature robust, long lasting construction and are shock, heat, chemicals and UV-light resistant. Volumes range from 0.2µL to 10mL.

Calibra® digital pipettes feature a two-position volume selector that makes volume settings fast and accurate, and eliminates volume setting deviations. They are equipped with twin cams with precalibrated steps to provide true digital volume entry, high performance, and calibration stability. These pipettors are autoclavable at 121°C without disassembly or recalibration, are color-coded to ensure proper tip selection, and are lighter in weight. The Calibra® digital offers a rounded finger rest and a soft plunger travel that reduces operator fatigue. Setting wheel locks eliminate accidental volume alteration; pipettes also feature a separate glove-friendly tip ejector. Calibra® pipettes can be calibrated easily in the lab with graduation setting under a push button. Dispensing is accomplished by a simple plunger stroke with a separate overshoot movement. A separate ejector button prevents accidental de-tipping. The plunger assembly features a stainless steel and PVDF construction for a high degree of chemical resistivity.

The 2mL macropipette includes an adapter for use with popular Pasteur pipets. The macropipettes feature optional cellulose paper filters that may be used in conjunction with polypropylene macrotips to guard against the possibility of cross-contamination.
