• in proteolytic activity assay of serine protease subtilisin carlsberg (SC).
• as a substrate for neutrophil elastase, trypsin and chymotrypsin in protease assay.
Biochem/physiol Actions: N-succinyl-Ala-Ala-Pro-Phe p-nitroanilide is a substrate for subtilisin and proteases.
General description: N-Succinyl-Ala-Ala-Pro-Phe p-nitroanilide is a colorimetric substrate for chymotrypsin, human leukocyte cathepsin G and peptidyl prolyl isomerase.
