Sarstedt® Tissue Culture Flasks

Sarstedt™ Tissue Culture Flasks are made of high-quality transparent polystyrene and are available with growth surfaces of 25cm2, 75cm2, and 175cm2. Flasks feature optimized geometry in their design, allowing for the accessibility of all corners with serological pipets or cell scrapers. Large labeling areas on both sides of neck and graduation marks (both printed and engraved into the flask) for ease of use. High stability against overturning reduces the risk of contamination, and a stacking edge allows for secure positioning when flasks are placed on top of each other. An optimized, canted flask neck and anti-drip rim make for easy tilting of the medium, without risk of spillover. Lot number and expiration date are printed on each flask for easy traceability.
Flasks also feature a user friendly quick-release cap—only a 1/3 turn is needed for opening or closing. The 2-position screw cap allows for gas-tight sealing when in the closed position; while in the ventilated position, cells can be cultivated with even gas exchange. Choose between vented and non-vented caps. Vent cap has a filter with a pore size of 0.2µm to ensure constant, sterile gas exchange. The hydrophobic filter also minimizes thr risk of contamination.

- Red: adherent cells
- Yellow: sensitive, adherent cells
- Green: suspension cells
