Mini-Mite™ 1100°C Tube Furnaces are compact, portable and of lightweight design. Their split-hinge design simplifies loading and unloading. Main power on/off switch on control panel, and safety switch to disconnect power to heating element when furnace is opened. Long life type K thermocouple.
The Mini-Mite™ Furnaces offer a selection of control instrumentation including 16 segment programmable or single setpoint control. All models feature energy efficient Moldatherm® insulation for quick heat-up and cool-down. The RS485 digital communications port available as an option allows controller to be connected to a PC for remote monitoring and control of the furnace. Up to 30 units can be connected to one PC.
Digital, Single Setpoint Controller (single segment, single setpoint, 1 ramp to setpoint) features a microprocessor-based self-tuning PID control (proportional, integral, derivative) that provides optimum thermal process without overshoot. Adjustable high limit overtemperature protection and simultaneous LED display of actual temperature vs. setpoint in either °C or °F.
Digital Single Program, Multiple Segment Programmable Controller offers the same features as the single setpoint controller but the single program can have up to 16 segments for ramp and dwell temperature control.
These furnaces are designed for use with a variety of process tubes including alumina, mullite, quartz and metallic. Process tube is not supplied with furnace.
