Hollow, plug-type stopper fits into the neck of the apparatus. Sleeve extension fits over the neck for a secure seal. Diaphragm can be punctured with a syringe needle. Useful for outgassing NMR sample tubes, as a pressure vent, or for adding reactant via a syringe.
