All-Glass Extraction Thimbles

These thimbles are for use in extractor bodies 586000 and 586100, except thimble 292100, which is for use in 292010 extraction apparatus. All-glass construction allows visual examination during the extraction and subsequent weighing. Unit has either a coarse (40-60 micron porosity) or an extra-coarse (170-220 micron porosity) glass fritted disc sealed in. Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements.
