Turns any piece of equipment on or off when temperature rises above/falls below low set point, schedule timer on/off settings can be pre-set. Controller can be set in 1 degree increments and features 3 memories, manual override, clock, and battery backup.
Wide measurement range of –4 to 140°F and –20 to 60°C, and setting range of 32 to 140°F/0 to 60°C permits measuring, and maintaining temperatures above or below ambient. Control heating elements, cooling blocks, hot plates, heating mantles, cooling systems, or incubators to an accuracy of ±1°C. Display reads in °F and °C with a 0.1° resolution. Unit accepts standard, three-pronged plug and controls equipment rated to 1800 watts, 15 amps. Brilliant, 1/2-inch-high LCD shows the temperature and time of day to the exact second. Red LED status light indicates on/off mode of attached equipment. Uses the same microchip and software that control sophisticated plant operations. May also be programmed to turn equipment on and off at any minute of any day. Always-remember memory permits programming three different pairs of on/off time switchings per day. Memory chip and display are powered by two AAA batteries. Settings are maintained for 1 year in the event of electrical outage.
Simple commands are easy to use. Display walks you through steps. Set high and low temperatures or schedule timer on/off settings in just seconds with press of a few buttons. Manual override permits equipment to be switched on or off instantly without disturbing temperature or timer settings.
An individually-numbered Traceable® Certificate provided with each unit, assures accuracy from an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (1750.01) calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA. It indicates traceability of measurements to the SI units through NIST or other recognized national measurement institutes (NMI) that are signatories to the CIPM Mutual Recognition Agreement. Both controller and relay are 2-3/4 x 5-1/2 x 1-1/4 inches and weight is 1 pound. May be used with equipment to 115 VAC, 1800 watts, 15 amps. Temperature sensor cable is 3-1/2 feet in length.
