Parafilm® M
A flexible, moldable self-sealing wrapping film that is also waterproof. Use to seal tubes, flasks, beakers, even containers with irregular surfaces.
Parafilm® is semitransparent, odorless, tasteless and approximately 0.005" thick. It is highly insensitive to water vapor and moisture loss, yet sufficiently permeable to gases to make it ideal for working with culture media. Resistant to alcohol, some acids and alkalies.
Hold Parafilm® on one side, stretch over the opening and twist slightly for a liquid-tight seal. May be repeatedly folded over the opening without breaking.
Available in three different size rolls. The 2 and 4" wide rolls are in dispenser boxes.
