TBE (Tris Borate EDTA buffer) is a widely used electrophoresis buffer. This optimized buffer offers a high level of resistance to the Joule effect, which occurs during prolonged high voltage electrophoretic migrations.

Tris: 0.89 M
Boric acid: 0.89 M
EDTA: 0.02 M

Filtered through 0.2µm PTFE
Aseptically filled
