Restek Stainless Steel 1/4" HPLC Frits

Frits are manufactured from fine chromatographic-grade 316 stainless steel. Sizes to fit most column and pore sizes are offered. To choose the correct frit, check its pore size compatibility with the particle size of the packing in the column (refer to the table below). If the packing has a smaller particle size than the pore of the frit, packing will clog the frit. Clogging may cause a decrease in column life and damage the flow cell.

If packing particle size is this: Use this pore size:
3-4µm 0.5µm
5-20µm 2.0µm
