Acrodisc® Sterile Syringe Filters with Supor® Membrane

Acrodisc® syringe filters have Supor® membranes of hydrophilic polyethersulfone for superior flow rates and higher throughputs than conventional filters. Supor® membranes are low protein-binding and sterilized with gamma irradiation to prevent the cytotoxic effect of EtO residues. Filters are easy to use and designed to rest securely on top of universal bottles. Available with 13-37mm diameters in several pore sizes. 32mm diameter membranes are particularly useful for laboratory filtration of aqueous solutions up to 150mL. Use the 32mm membranes with 0.1µm pore size to reduce mycoplasma in a solution. 13mm diameter filters offer an effective filter area of 1.0cm2; 25mm diameter, effective filter area 2.8cm2; 32mm diameter, effective filter area 5.8cm2. Maximum operating temperature 55°C. Pressure 5.2 bar (520 kPa, 75 psi). Acrodisc PF and Serum Acrodisc syringe filters feature built-in prefilter for increased throughput of difficult-to-filter liquids.

Sterile Acrodiscs are constructed of modified acrylic with a female luer lock inlet and a male slip luer outlet. Packaged in individual blister packs.
