Osmonics MAGNACHARGE Nylon Transfer Membrane

An inherently charged hydrophilic nylon membrane for superior results in Southern, Northern, and Alkaline transfers and reprobing procedures. The natural charge, combined with an exclusive crosslinking technology, delivers consistent, repeatable results. MAGNACHARGE membranes stand up to multiple hybridizations or reprobings without breaking or flaking. They offer superb lot-to-lot consistency, signal retention and signal-to-noise ratio.

MAGNACHARGE membranes have an average binding capacity of 450µg of DNA per cm2 across a wide pH range. Independent testing has shown a consistent sensitivity range of 31µg of total DNA without background interference, allowing MAGNACHARGE to be used for DNA fingerprinting applications.
