Natural hydrophilicity, an inherent charge and polymer crosslinking make MAGNA LIFT a superior colony/plaque lift membrane. These nylon membranes contain no additional chemical treatments, additives, or modifiers that might interfere with lift procedures. They provide instant consistent wetout when laid over plates, assuring easy, smear-free lifts.
Membranes have an average binding capacity of 450µg of DNA/RNA per cm2. Their exceptional sensitivity makes them ideal for high density screening. Superior mechanical strength provides consistent lifts without curling, breaking, or distorting.
