State-of-the-art polypropylene capsule filters featuring Supor®, a hydrophilic polysulfone membrane that offers exceptional throughput and low extractables. Available in two sizes: the AcroCap500 (L x Diam, 13.4 x 6.9cm) provides an effective filtration area of 500cm2 for filtering up to 50 liters of fluid; the AcroCap1000 (L x Diam, 18.0 x 6.9cm) provides an effective filtration area of 1000cm2 for filtering up to 100 liters of fluid. Both are available in 0.2 or 0.45µm pore size with built-in 0.8µm prefilters.
Maximum operating pressure for AcroPak Capsules is 4.2kg/cm2 continuous, with maximum momentary pressure of 7.1kg/cm2 at ambient temperatures. Maximum operating temperature 60°C. Endotoxicity for AcroPak Capsules is less than 0.5 EU/mL using the Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) test.
Cell culture certified and gamma radiation sterilized. If desired, autoclave once only before use at 121°C for 20 minutes at 1.1kg/cm2. Tapered hose barb inlet and outlet connections accept 1/4 to 1/2" I.D. tubing.
