For vacuum filtration of 100mL to 5L

VacuCap® bottle top filters with Supor® polyethersulfone membranes are ideal for vacuum filtration of aqueous solutions from 100mL to 5L. VacuCap filters are designed to provide high flow rates for viscous solutions in media preparation and cell culture applications. These bottle top filters fit a wide variety of collection vessels and empty solution directly into the target container, eliminating the possibility of contamination during transfer. Since the VacuCap filter draws directly from the mixing reservoir, it is no longer necessary to continuously refill the upper reservoir. An automatic shutoff feature prevents solution from overflowing.

The VacuCap PF bottle top filters will improve performance with extremely viscous solutions, especially solutions with very high particle loads. VacuCap PF has a built-in prefilter to maximize throughput. Available for both VacuCap 60 and VacuCap 90 with 0.2µm pore size. 0.2µm VacuCap® filters (Cat.No. 629-TA4622) are available with attached PVC medical-grade tubing.

VacuCap 60 has a 60mm diameter with an effective filtration area of 30cm²; VacuCap 90 has a 90mm diameter with an effective filtration area of 60cm². Constructed of acrylic with a polyester membrane support and polyethylene gasket seal. Passes USP Class VI-121°C Plastics Tests. Sterile. Packaged individually.

Note: Designed for maximum vacuum of 63.5cm (25") Hg.
