Celltreat® Vacuum Filter Systems and Bottle Top Filters are ideal for large volume sample separation and purification. The filter systems include bottle top filter and solution bottle with cap, and are manufactured in a Class 100,000 clean room, from USP class VI virgin polystyrene. They are available in 150mL, 250mL, 500mL, and 1000mL sizes and are individually packaged sterile (gamma irradiated) in easy to open plastic bags with individually wrapped caps. Angled hosebarb adapter fits 3 size hose diameters and increases unit stability.

The filter membrane is Polyethersulfone (PES) material in 0.22µm, 0.45µm, and 0.10µm pore sizes for rapid flow rate and low protein binding. Additional filters are available with either polystyrene or polypropylene construction.

Bottle Top Filters, Polypropylene

  • Fits on standard GL 45 threaded glass vacuum bottles
  • Excellent chemical resistance offered with polypropylene housing as compared to polystyrene
  • High temperature range of 4°C to 37°C is suitable for many applications
  • Hydrophilic nylon membrane has excellent chemical compatibility with esters, bases, and alcohols, and does not require pre-wetting
  • Hydrophobic PTFE membrane has excellent temperature resistance and is useful for clarifying aqueous samples as well as strong acid and alkali solvent filtration
