CentriVap® Cold Traps

CentriVap® Cold Traps

The CentriVap® Cold Trap collects evaporated liquid from a CentriVap® Concentrator, protecting an accessory vacuum pump from the corrosive effects of vapors and fumes emitted from samples. Cold Traps may also be used in other laboratory applications such as freeze drying and desiccation.

Features:

  • Brushed, stainless steel and glacier white, epoxy-coated steel exterior with blue accents
  • Temperature graph that illuminates green when collector coil reaches operating temperature of -40°C (-65°C for -105°C models)
  • CFC-free refrigeration system with 1/4 hp compressor to quickly lower temperature
  • Four-liter, stainless steel collector
  • Acrylic lid with two Quick-Disconnect™ fittings for connection to a CentriVap® Concentrator
  • Stainless steel drain port with corrosion-resistant, nylon valve
  • Grounding clip
