Eberbach's Model 5900 Large Variable-Speed Reciprocal Shaker is designed to shake large containers or large quantities of smaller containers. Like all Eberbach Shakers, this unit is simple to use and maintain, and is manufactured to last you well into the next century.
The 5900 is powered by a 1/6 hp General Electric split phase motor which drives the platform through a mechanical transmission utilizing a variable pitch pulley system incorporating a V-belt drive. Speed is continuously variable between a range of 60-240 osc/minute, yet at a given setting the speed is constant, and is not affected by normal line voltage fluctuations. The horizontal stroke is adjustable to 3/4", 1-1/8" or 1-1/2" with a maximum load of 100 lbs.
The unit's available accessories include flask holders, separatory funnel holders, utility box carriers or you can increase your shaking capacity with a tiered platform system.
Model 5905 is the explosion-proof Model 5905 version of the large reciprocal shaker for use in hazardous locations (Class 1, Group D, Class 2, Groups E and F).
