Canopy Hoods are specifically designed to vent non-toxic materials such as heat, steam, and odors from large or bulky apparatus such as ovens, steam baths, and autoclaves. The hood may be installed on a wall or suspended from the ceiling for peninsular and corner locations. Coupled with a blower and ductwork, the Canopy Hood can operate at a wide range of exhaust rates. Includes a built-in baffle to increase air velocities and enhance its overall capture efficiency. Glacier white epoxy-coated steel construction. Fully assembled, complete with mounting hardware for installation on wall or suspended from ceiling (threaded rod is required).
For most efficient performance, the hood should be installed no more than 12" above the equipment to be ventilated.
