I-Chem® Sample Vials

I-Chem Brand Products offer a wide variety of borosilicate clear or amber glass vials with either open-top closures and septa, or closed-top with a PTFE® liner. These containers are available pre-cleaned and are certified to exact EPA specifications. They are offered in two different series (I-Chem Certified™ 300 Series and 200 Series) to meet your various needs.
Vials are available in 20mL, 40mL or 60mL capacity. Open-topped closures have a 0.125" PTFE-silicone septa attached. Open-topped closures with Septa-Gard™ may be purchased with 40mL vials.
Vials come custody sealed in shrink wrapped cases. All cases include quality labels. G.P.I. thread finish for all vials is 24/414.
Septa-Gard™ is a polyethylene dust cover that snaps over the open-top closure of select I-Chem 40mL vials. Septa-Gard protects against possible airborne particulate contamination. Septa-Gard can accompany the sample throughout the collection process and then simply be removed at the time of analysis.
I-Chem low bleed septa vials contain lower levels of free siloxanes than do standard water analysis septa. Designed for in-vial heated purges by EPA Method 5035 analysis for volatiles in soil samples. Septa also available separately.
I-Chem Certified™ 300 Series
300 Series sample vials come pre-cleaned to exact EPA specifications. Each case comes with a "Certificate of Analysis" and QC lot number labels for traceability.
I-Chem Certified™ 200 Series
200 Series sample vials come pre-cleaned to exact EPA specifications, using the same procedures listed for the 300 Series vials. However, they do not come with a "Certificate of Analysis" or QC lot number labels. All cases include quality labels. A Certificate of Analysis is available on request.
