Thermo Scientific Revco™ plasma freezers feature microprocessor control for simplified operation and greater accuracy and are designed to meet AABB, ANRC and FDA standards for safety and performance in plasma storage. Five models offer cabinet sizes to meet a variety of space needs and storage volume requirements.
Built to last, these freezers feature cold-rolled steel cabinet surfaces finished with a high-impact powder paint coating. One solid door, hinged on right with full-length door handles protects your samples. CFC-free refrigerant and high-density, CFC-free urethane foam insulation protect cabinet interior from ambient temperature fluctuations and minimizes operating costs. Positive, forced-air circulation maintains uniformity at all shelf levels and directional airflow assures quick recovery after door openings. Freezers are also equipped with heavy-duty, hermetically sealed compressors. Adjustable leveling feet. 1" access port with plug on undercounter model only.
Additionally, microprocessor control provides ease of use with icon-based controls and displays. The large bright digital display shows temperature within 1°C. Temperature setpoint is preset at -30°C with a key-operated master switch for setpoint security. Audible and visual warnings alert the user in the instance of overtemperature, undertemperature, or power failure. Automatic condensate removal and defrost, with sensor that automatically initiates defrost cycle on demand, eliminating need for a defrost timer, minimizing frost buildup and optimizing coil efficiency. Additional system features include: push-button alarm test, remote alarm contacts, alarm silence, ringback, and auto reset. Freezers also include a controller battery backup system.
Space-saver and upright models come with a 6 in. (15.2cm) seven-day circular chart temperature recorder (optional free-standing on undercounter model) and extra-long probe for manual alarm testing. Alarm systems, temperature chart recorders and power monitors available separately.
