This in vitro system for the study of tumor cell invasion through basement membrane consists of a BD Falcon FluoroBlok 24-multiwell insert plate containing an 8.0µm pore size FluoroBlok membrane coated with a uniform layer of BD Matrigel Basement Membrane Matrix. The Matrigel Matrix occludes the pores of the FluoroBlok membrane, blocking non-invasive cells from migrating through the membrane.
